A Thorne pub is organising a charity quiz night in December to support adults with autism and learning disabilities in Doncaster.

The Windmill Pub, Queens Road, is hosting a charity Christmas quiz on December 8 to help raise money for disability charity, Autism Plus.

It will cost £2 per team of four to enter the quiz with all of the money raised going towards supporting the charity. There will also be a raffle on the night with half of the proceeds also going to the charity and the rest being used as prize money along with a free bottle of wine. Free sandwiches will also be made available on the night to everyone taking part.

Mel Russell, Community Fundraiser at Autism Plus said: “I would like to thank The Windmill Pub for their support and for organising the Autism Plus Big Christmas Quiz. It promises to be a night of fun, facts and tie-breakers; and it’s all for a fantastic cause. The money raised from the event will really make a difference to the individuals we support and will be used to help improve their health and wellbeing.”

Autism Plus is a charity that works across the north of England supporting individuals with a range of complex needs including autism, learning disabilities and mental health diagnoses. The charity aims to provide innovative solutions that improve individuals’ quality of life.
