Canadian magician Darcy Oake who made his name on Britain’s Got Talent will be bringing his thrilling live show to Sheffield City Hall on Thursday as part of his first nationwide UK tour.

Emerging in the world of illusion as a new generation of contemporary mysticism he has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting performers in magic right now.

In June 2014 more than 200 million viewers tuned in to Britain’s Got Talent to witness the birth of a phenomenon: the unveiling of an electrifying new illusionist.

From sleight of hand to death-defying escapades, this master magician grabbed the world’s attention, ushering in an exciting new era of an age-old art form.

Darcy is a performance artist whose modern interpretation gratifies the hunger of audiences seeking spectacle and nail-biting feats of illusion.

Inspired by classic techniques, Darcy transports the crowd to another dimension with exhilarating visuals and logic-defying exploits.

Since delving into the craft at the age of only eight, Darcy’s fresh approach has earned him multiple awards, including the prestigious People’s Choice Gold Medal, which he received from the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians.

He has since gone on to become an international magic champion and headlined at the iconic Magic Castle, made numerous international television appearances, toured the globe and will now headline his first UK tour this autumn.
