Mr. Brightside hitmakers latest announcement that they will play at Keepmoat Stadium has come as a surprise to many residents who have already bought tickets for the Imploding The Mirage stadium tour.
One Doncaster Free Press reader Michael Kelly said: “I have already bought tickets for the Manchester gig and now they're playing on my doorstep!”

Hide AdBrandon Flowers and Co. will kick off the tour, with the South Yorkshire show on May 26.
And, residents cannot wait.
Isabelle Ward, writing on our Facebook page said: “I have to be there.”
Another reader Gussy Fink Nottle said: “Great band, we must go.”
Lynette Coates added: “Need to go.”
The initial run of 250,000 tickets for the tour sold out in just two hours when they went on sale late last year.

Hide AdResidents are predicting that the Doncaster tickets will also go fast.
Tweeting the paper Joanne Eanor said: “There'll be no tickets left by 9.05am.”
Lynn Morrison said: “I think the regulars should have first dibs!”
Warwick Garrity pointed out that residents might not have to be in the arena to enjoy it.

Tickets for the Doncaster date are available from 9am on February 21.
Stockport band Blossoms will be the main support band on the night.
