Conisbrough’s pursuit for promotion from Division One continued with their seventh successive win, this time at St Peter’s Drive over Aston Hall B.

The visitors batted first but declined to 26-4 and then 53-8. Gareth Jones hit 34 to raise the final total to a paltry 107 all out.

Scott Harris with 3-20 and Mark Neale 3-18 were Conisbrough’s best bowlers.

In reply Conisbrough’s openers Stuart Coleman and Matthew Barnes produced 76 runs before Coleman left with 47 to his credit.

Barnes stayed to the completion with 45 not out as the hosts completed their task in 20.4 overs to win by eight wickets.

Tickhill continued their pursuit of second-placed Conisbrough and leaders Darfield with a narrow win over Shiregreen.

The home side batted first and 65 from Aslam Hayat provided the backbone of a total of 166 all out.

Tickhill’s Mitchell Phelps took 4-34 and Alex Rowland 4-41.

The visitors’ chase was led by opener Lee Bradshaw, whose 73 included nine fours and a six.

Phelps steered events to a conclusion with 20 not out as Tickhill reached their target with two wickets and nine balls to spare.

In Division Two Nick Wright and Jonathan Redfern both hit half centuries to guide Doncaster Town B to a three wicket win at Millhouses Works.

Nazakat Khan scored 59 and Joseph Hill 33 not out, while Alan Stoves claimed 3-31 as the hosts registered 184-9.

Doncaster were 21-2 before Wright (57), skipper Rhys Mann (38) and Redfern (57no) led the recovery as Town got home with 16 balls to spare.
