Doncaster’s annual Regatta has had to be cancelled on Saturday because of a lack of entries.
The event, due to take place along the River Don, received less than half of the competitors required - organisers say the main reason was because the National Schools’ Regatta is taking place at the same time.
However, organisers have planned a ‘Race Day’ instead with around 20-30 events expected to take place on Saturday.
Everyone is welcome to the event at Hexthorpe’s Boathouse from 10am.
