Milly Naseb has struck up quite a rapport with India’s Song and the duo can make it three wins on the bounce with victory in the Coral App Download From The App Store Handicap at Lingfield.

Naseb, who claims 7lb, has had only a handful of rides to date but India’s Song seems to put her best foot forward for her, as she showed when winning at Kempton in December and Chelmsford last week.

While India’s Song won just an ordinary apprentice event at Kempton, she was returning from a lengthy lay off and appeared to oblige with a fair bit in hand - an impression she confirmed when winning a more competitive contest at Chelmsford.

Running off a 4lb higher mark, Naseb showed good judgement in timing her run and India’s Song responded in style, winning by half a length when eased before the before the line.

There will be an extra 6lb on her back this time but India’s Song looks capable of rising to the challenge once more.

Draco’s Code has been a beaten favourite on each of his three starts to date but his time should surely come in the Maiden Stakes.

A close relative of Derby winner Sir Percy, he did not make his racecourse bow until last November when he had to settle for second in a Lingfield bumper after making notable late headway.

He looked a likely winner next time out back at the same track, taking up the lead with two furlongs to run only to get caught in the dying strides and be beaten a length and a half.

Switched to maiden company next time, he was headed on the line by Astral Weeks and eventually beaten a nose.

He clearly has ability and Draco’s Code can start to use some of that talent now.

Powerful Wind stands out in the 32Red On The App Store Handicap at Kempton.
