Doncaster RLFC hope to maintain their perfect start to the new season when they travel to Keighley Cougars on Sunday.
Gary Thornton’s side eased past University of Gloucestershire All Golds in the opening round of League One fixtures last weekend.
They have also safely negotiated their way through to the next rounds of the iPro Sport Cup and Challenge Cup.
Keighley beat South Wales Scorpions 60-4 in their opening league match.
Thornton told the club’s offical website: “People will look at it as the toughest test yet, playing a traditional rugby league team who’ve only fairly recently been relegated from the Championship.
“People will view it as two traditional rugby league clubs going head to head and two teams that are favourites to be there at the end of the season.
“We take it as another game. As far as I’m concerned I’m looking forward to the challenge – as are the players – because we’ve had a really good start to the season with three wins from three games.”
