Two well-known faces from Channel 4 Racing will be sharing tips with South Yorkshire punters, ahead of one of the most prestigious racedays in the UK National Hunt racing calendar.

Doncaster Racecourse is set to host a Cheltenham Preview Evening on Saturday, 28 February, giving racing fans the chance to hear from experts about some of the contenders taking part in next month’s Cheltenham Festival following Town Moor’s final jumps meeting of the season, the BetBright February Festival featuring the famous ‘Grimthorpe Chase’.

Channel 4 Racing’s betting reporter Tanya Stevenson and pundit Graham Cunningham will assess the chances of the leading contenders in the feature races of the Prestbury Park showpiece with Doncaster Racecourse’s regular racing tipster Roger Hart hosting the proceedings.

This year’s Cheltenham Preview Evening is free to attend with any ticket purchased for the BetBright February Festival’s Saturday fixture which gets underway with the first race at 1.25pm.

The Cheltenham Preview evening starts at 5.45pm in the Conduit Suite.

Race-goers will also have the chance to enjoy a live music performance by party band Flipside who will be performing in the exhibition hall.

Kieran Gallagher, executive director of Doncaster Racecourse, said: “The Cheltenham Festival is one of the highlights of the National Hunt calendar, and a meeting that attracts a huge amount of interest from horse racing fans across the UK.

“We’re delighted to be hosting a preview evening with a panel of this stature ahead of this important fixture and the event is also a fitting way to bring our own National Hunt season to a close.

“The ‘Grimthorpe Chase’, part of the two day BetBright February Festival, is itself set to be a real spectacle for the race-going public and we’ll be topping off the day with some fantastic live music from party band Flipside.”

Tickets for the BetBright February Festival fixture on Saturday 28 February, including admission to the Cheltenham Preview, are available starting at £20.00.
