BRETT Davey’s side suffered a third straight defeat as Championship favourites Newcastle Falcons flexed their muscles at Kingston Park.
Doncaster held their own for the majority of Friday night’s first half but only had a Jamie Lennard penalty to show for their efforts.
Big-spending Falcons were limited to a penalty try and two Jimmy Gopperth penalties - but the hosts upped their game in the second period and eased to their third win out of three.
Jonny Golding, Mark Wilson and Gopperth added further tries, with the latter kicking four conversions for the Geordies.
Defeat leaves Doncaster with just one losing bonus point from their opening three Championship fixtures.
Davey’s side travel to London Scottish on Saturday.
