Doncaster Rovers Belles secured a hard fought win at neighbours Sheffield FC to get 2017 off to a winning start and advance to the fifth round of the SSE FA Women's Cup.
Courtney Sweetman-Kirk, who missed the whole of last season through injury, scored the only goal of the game in the first half from the penalty spot.
It was controversial decision from referee Law Bik Chi, with Sheffield arguing the handball was actually by a Belles player.
Kirstie Hanson impressed on her Belles debut as the visitors dug in to make the last 16. The draw takes place on Monday morning.
