8. Sunderland AFC takeover latest
William Storey - who has launched a bid to buy Sunderland AFC as part of a consortium - has provided an update on where the deal stands. Speaking on Twitter, he said: “All will become clear with situation at #Sunderland but current majority owners deserve credit for doing their best to do deal whilst managing stakeholder demands.There are notable creditors with leverage too.
