Doncaster Belles U18s ended the year in style with a 7-1 win at top of the table AFC Pogmoor.
The prolific Jasmine Saxton (3) bagged her fourth hat trick in four games to help maintain Doncaster’s one hundred per cent winning record in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Girls County League.
The win temporarily saw Belles replace Pogmoor at the summit, but they have since dropped to second after the six points they gained against Shaw Lane, who have withdrawn from the league, were expunged.
A poacher’s effort from Saxton and a 25-yard strike from midfielder Caitlin Gunnell put Belles two goals to the good at half time against the league leaders.
KD Roberts came close to making it 3-0 before the home side halved the deficit with a deflected effort that looped into the Belles net.
Pogmoor pushed for an equalizer but two quickfire goals from defender Kelly Griffiths and Saxton took the sting out of the home team.
Saxton completed her treble with a close range finish before Kaitlyn Doncaster and Kesley O’Driscoll put the gloss on a fine win.
