Theo Robinson has praised the impact of strikers coach Shaun Goater since he began work with Rovers.
Former Manchester City and Rotherham United forward Goater spends one day a week with Rovers’ forwards.
And Robinson says he and his fellow attackers have benefited from the advice.
He said: “He’s made a big difference.
“He’s been telling us little tips of the trade. I’m not going to say what they are because we want to keep them to ourselves.
“Even the gaffer has been joining in with the finishing sessions which has helped.
“It’s great that he’s brought Goats in. He’s done a lot in the game.
“Both the manager and Shaun Goater are so well respected.”
Robinson looks set to retain his place in the Rovers side as Nathan Tyson continues his recovery from injury.
