Defender Tori Williams says Doncaster Rovers Belles are going into their top-of-the-table clash with Sunderland Ladies in confident mood.
Second-placed Doncaster and current FAWSL2 leaders Sunderland will meet for the first time in the league tonight.
However, the Lady Black Cats boast a 2-0 victory over the Belles back in May during a Continental Cup fixture.
But versatile defender Williams believes that as long as the hosts stick to their game plan, they should be toasting three points come Saturday night’s game at the Keepmoat Stadium.
“I think the whole team is really confident going into the game,” said the former Chelsea Ladies stopper.
“We’ve been working hard so hopefully the hard work pays off.
“It’s not just them [Sunderland]. There are other teams around them that we need to be looking at.
“Anyone in the league can go up so it’s just another game.”
Williams went on: “Whatever squad gets picked, everyone on the bench are behind them anyway.
“It’s all about getting those three points on Saturday night.”
Kick-off is 6.30pm.
