THORNE Colliery reached the final of the Goole and Thorne Cup for the first time in ten years with a 4-2 win over Sutton Rovers at Moorends Welfare Ground.

First half goals from Mason and Hindson put Colliery in command with Gorman and a Fell penalty sealing the win in the second half.

Sutton scored twice late on but could not pull themselves level.

Colliery will play FC Tavern who beat Swinefleet Juniors 3-2 to ensure an all Thorne final.

This Saturday, Colliery are again in cup action, at home to Yorkshire Main in the CMFL league Cup (2pm).
