Some people have suggested Cambridge United away isn’t a great draw but I think it is.
It gives us a good chance of going through and I expect us to go down there and win.
The recent run is brilliant and Darren Ferguson is pressing all the right buttons. He’s been coming down to the academy games too and he seems a good guy.
He’s clearly got the players playing. He gives them the credit when things go well, even though it has to be down to his organisation at least to an extent.
He’ll want to win on Sunday, everyone looks at the next round and fancies a big tie. It would be ideal to get a big side at home and get the stadium filled.
I’ve had some great times in the FA Cup, it’s a magical competition.
When I played for Rovers I remember beating QPR when they were in the top tier, 1-0. It took us half an hour to get off the pitch afterwards.
We took the game to them and we thoroughly deserved it. I also played in a Rotherham team that drew with Manchester United and got a replay at Old Trafford, where we also drew.
That’s what can happen in the cup and it still seems to happen nowadays.
Meanwhile, Ferguson has made a big decision regarding Richie Wellens.
I’m a big Wellens fan but it’s probably best that he plays somewhere else if he’s not playing here.
Besides, every game Harry Middleton plays he looks more like a man. The experience is vital for him.
You can see what confidence does for a player. Andy Williams runs his socks off and when he misses, he carries on working hard and he has got his reward recently. I think he’ll end up with 15-20 goals this season.
Nathan Tyson is back scoring again too. I think he’s one of the best strikers in the league. He doesn’t always have the best goals record but his work ethic is superb.
