The 23-year-old trained with the Rovers squad on Friday morning and will be eligible to make his debut in Saturday’s clash with Portsmouth.

Sims has made 27 senior appearances for the Saints across the Premier League and Europa League.

Hide AdHe spent last year on loan in MLS with New York Red Bulls and saw that deal extended into 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic hit.
Primarily a right winger, Sims was previously on loan at Reading in the Championship and made 18 appearances for the Royals.
He will wear the number 20 shirt at Rovers.
