Becky Easton had absolutely no hesitation in re-joining Doncaster Rovers Belles.
The former England defender joined from Liverpool Ladies last week.
Easton played for Belles between 2000 and 2004.
“I’m delighted to be signing for Belles,” said the 41-year-old.
“I spent four extremely happy years with Doncaster previously so I am fully aware of the great history, traditions and values of the club.
“Doncaster Belles has always had a special place in my heart.
“I’ve followed their results and kept in touch with people at the club since my time there.
“It wasn’t a difficult decision once I’d spoken to Glen Harris and heard the plans and ambition of the club.”
Easton has 20 years experience of playing top flight football, including winning consecutive Women’s Super League titles with Liverpool, and won 44 caps for England.
She will combine her playing duties at Doncaster alongside an assistant general manager role to complement her Master’s degree studies in Sport Directorship at Manchester Metropolitan University.
