TEENAGER Adam Tamanis will make his competitive debut for the Knights as they chase a first win in 18 in the British and Irish Cup trip to Nottingham.
Brett Davey has been forced into a complete changeover of the front row due to injuries suffered in last weekend’s defeat to Melrose.
Tom Davies and Rhys Buckley will join Tamanis at the head of the scrum at Meadow Lane.
Skipper Matt Challinor will return to the side to replace Phil Hoy after sitting out the clash with Melrose while Dante Mama will come in at outside centre for James Tincknell.
Chris Hallam will be rested with Louis Silver coming in at scrum half, Jethro Rawling will replace David Bradford while Chris Planchant returns at no 8 with Adam Kettle switching to blindside flanker in place of Andy Boyde.
Dan Smith has been handed a second chance to impress in his new position at wing after scoring in last weekend’s defeat.
Nottingham head coach Martin Haag has brought back several big name players after his side suffered defeat to Llandovery last weekend while also testing a number of youngsters.
Michael Holford and Rupert Cooper will both return while Dan Montagu is set for his first start since returning to the club from Bristol in the summer.
