Chance to see the best in local footballing talent

HEAD to the Moorends Recreation Ground this weekend and see the best in local footballing talent.

Thorne Colliery U15s take on Trinity Academy on Saturday, February 21, challenging for The Hennessey Trophy.

Colliery have lost only one game this season, averaging five goals a game and Trinity Academy are unbeaten this season.

The game has been arranged to raise money for the charity which supports parents to stay in the ICT unit at Sheffield Children's Hospital.

Programmes are on sale for the game with a lucky programme number which will be drawn at half-time. Prizes include a round of golf for four at Owston Lodge, tickets for a Sheffield United game, a giant Winnie the Pooh and signed footballs, 20 prizes in all.
