Young cooks sweat it out at Sheffield school's bake-off

Who needs Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood when you have the talented young bakers of Westbourne School?

The Broomhill independent school is hosting its own British Bake Off, with all pupils being given the chance to show off their skills.

The opening round will be a simple bake at home then tasting and judging in school. Successful bakers will compete in other baking tasks with an eventual final to be judged by special mystery guests. All money raised will go to the school’s charity of the Year, Sheffield Young Carers.

Ailsa Gillespie, Benedict Pereira and Marisa Ali are pictured as they prepare for judging.
