A woman was rescued from a river by South Yorkshire firefighters.
Four fire engines were sent to the River Don, near Frederick Street in Rotherham town centre, and a specialist crew used a boat to reach the woman and pluck her to safety.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at 6.20am.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to Frederick Street, Rotherham, this morning following concerns for a woman in the canal.
"The woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries. There is nothing suspicious surrounding the incident."
At 12.50am firefighters searched the River Dun Navigation Canal after a vehicle was spotted in the water near High Street, Barnby Dun.
Firefighters checked that there was nobody trapped in the vehicle.
