A WOMAN had to re-admitted to hospital after injuries in a Doncaster car crash turned out to be more serious.
She is now detained in a Sheffield hospital with serious spinal injuries after her car left the road and overturned in a field near Conisbrough.
South Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about the incident which occurred last Friday morning.
It was initially thought she had escaped from the crash with minor injuries but it was later discovered she was more seriously injured when her car rolled over on a quiet country lane. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The silver Renault Megane was travelling from Edlington on the B6094 Carr Lane, towards Conisbrough, at about 9am on Friday when the driver seems to have lost control on a slight left-hand bend.
The car crossed the carriageway went down some banking and came to rest in a field on its roof.
The 32-year-old Maltby woman was initially described as ‘walking wounded’ but after being released from Doncaster Royal Infirmary she needs further treatment in Northern General Hospital for spinal injuries.
