A WOMAN accused of killing 13-year-old Casey-Lyanne Kearney will stand trial next Monday.

Hannah Bonser, 26, appeared via a videolink at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday, after a judge heard that both her legal team and prosecution lawyers were ready to proceed.

Bonser, of Cusworth House, pleaded not guilty to murder during an appearance before Sheffield Crown Court in May.

Judge Alan Goldsack QC, the honorary recorder of Sheffield, told Bonser she would be brought to Sheffield Crown Court in person for the trial.

The judge told Bonser that she would be remanded in custody until that time.

Casey-Lyanne Kearney was found by passers-by lying fatally stabbed near a children’s play area in Elmfield Park in Bennetthorpe on February 14.
