Well-known former Doncaster headteacher dies

A well known former Doncaster headteacher has died at the age of 87.

Retired head Yvonne Darwin died suddenly at her home in Bessacarr earlier this month.

Mrs Darwin, formerly of Bawtry and Austerfield, died on July 1.

An obituary described Mrs Darwin as the beloved wife of the late Frank and also a much loved auntie and great auntie.

The funeral service and cremation will take place on July 21 at Rose Hill Crematorium at 3.40pm.
