A Doncaster based dance school is preparing to celebrate its 23rd birthday in style with two show stopping performances.
The Royston School of Dance, Kirk Sandall, will be taking to the stage at Parklands Sports and Social Club, Wheatley Hall Road. Wheatley, tomorrow evening and Friday evening (December 4 and 5).
The ‘Christmas Time’ show will begin at 7pm each night, and with dancers of all ages taking part it is sure to offer something for everyone.
Angela Royston, founder of the school said: “I am very excited for the performances this year, the school is flourishing.
“We have little toddlers just starting out and our new beginner adult tap class will be taking to the stage for the very first time.
“It’s not to be missed.”
The show will be split into two halves, the first half offering a eclectic mix of music from the charts to old classics, with a selection of dance styles and difficulty levels from beginner to advanced dancers.
The second half will be all about bringing festive vibes to the audience, with the whole school taking on Christmas songs.
Angela, who has been teaching for almost 30 years, said: “Every year the show we put on is an accumulation of all the hard work of everyone involved in the school which makes me incredibly proud.
“I would like to thank all the dancers, parents and guardians and everyone else behind the scenes as we head towards our best show to date!”
Tickets can also be purchased on the door. They are £6 for adults and £5 for concessions.
