VIDEO: Police taser man carrying out criminal damage 'rampage' in Doncaster village
The man, whose age is not yet known, is believed to have damaged over 12 vehicles in the Dunscroft area over the last week.
Inspector Mark Payling confirmed that the man was apprehended by police at a Dunscroft property in the early hours of yesterday morning, and tasers were used as they attempted to restrain him.

Hide AdHe said: "I want to reassure people that the person police believe to be responsible for these incidents is no longer on the streets.
"The man was using a carving knife, a hammer and a spanner to damage windscreens, wing mirrors, and pretty much any window he could find.
"The spanner being used was later found by police.
"Investigations are continuing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact police and help take this investigation further."
Following the spate of criminal damage caused to vehicles, a number of Dunscroft area said they had been told that a 'shooting' had taken place, however Insp Payling confirmed that no incident of that nature had taken place in the area.
Anyone who may have witnessed any of the criminal damage caused, or who may have information on the incidents, is asked to call South Yorkshire police on 101.
