VIDEO: Doncaster police hit the streets for Operation Duxford

South Yorkshire police hit the streets this morning, targeting drugs and street prostitution as part of Operation Duxford.

Police executed warrants in St James Street, Doncaster in search of drugs.

They raided flats in Firbeck House, using a chainsaw and battering ram.

They broke down another door around the corner shortly after when an occupant refused to let police in.

Police also patrolled Thorne Road after reports of street prostitute activity.

Police are stepping up patrols in Bessacarr and Cantley, where a community meeting was due to take place regarding anti-social behaviour.
