Trolleybus Museum hosts teddy bears’ picnic

ALL aboard for a teddy bear’s picnic at the Trolleybus Museum this weekend.

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July all Teddy Bears are invited to attend the Teddy Bear’s Picnic at The Trolleybus Museum.

All children accompanied by a Teddy Bear will receive free entry to the museum. There will also be additional activities for children including:

For the rest of the family all the usual museum attractions will also be on offer including unlimited rides on a selection of finely preserved vintage trolleybuses. Vintage motorbus tours around the historic Isle of Axholme are also available free of charge. Wallow in nostalgia with our period shop window displays; suitably decorated 1950’s prefab bungalow and 1950/60s vintage bicycle exhibition. Learn about the history of trolleybuses in the UK and abroad with our new Centenary Trolleybus Tour (Sunday only), our exhibition area and digital-equipped theatre then take a break in café, which sells a range of hot and cold snacks and homemade cakes.

The Museum is on Belton Road, Sandtoft, North Lincolnshire and is open from 11am to 6pm each day. Admission to The Museum for this event costs £6.00 for adults, £5.00 for seniors and £4.00 for children, although children accompanied by their Teddy Bear receive free entry. A family ticket is also available priced just £19 bus rides and car parking are all included.
