Doncaster passengers travelling to London on First Hull Trains’ services on December 27 will be diverted to London St Pancras as the firm finds an innovative way around the festive period’s hectic engineering schedule.

Two trains will be diverted into the London St Pancras terminal instead of the usual King’s Cross so that passengers can avoid having to use replacement buses.

FHT’s Louise Mendham said: “We are delighted to be one of the few operators that will be able to keep people on the move without the need to transfer on to road transport.”

St Pancras and King’s Cross stations are right next to each other, with a five minute walk between the two.
