An 18-year-old driver has sustained extensive injuries, after being involved in a fail to stop collision.
The alleged fail-to-stop incident involved a blue Fiat Punto and a dark coloured 4 x 4 pick-up style vehicle.
The collision happened at around 4pm on Sunday, March 15 at the traffic lights at the junction of Cantley Lane and Bawtry Road.
It was reported that the Punto was turning right onto Bawtry Road when it was involved in a collision with the 4 x 4, which was travelling toward Rossington.
It is alleged the driver of the 4 x 4 did not stop at the scene and the 18-year-old driver of the Punto suffered bruising, back and neck injuries.
Extensive damage was caused to both vehicles.
Police have today (Tuesday, March 24) launched a witness appeal, calling for anyone with information on the incident to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 638 of March 15 2015.
