BREAKING: 18-year-old killed in Doncaster crash named

Police have confirmed the identity of the teenager killed in a horror crash in Doncaster at the weekend.

Thomas Isle, 18, was driving a red Seat Ibiza on the A18 High Street on Saturday evening when it was involved with a collision at around 6.40pm. He died at the scene.

A 13-year-old passenger suffered life threatening injuries and remains in a ‘critical but stable’ condition in hospital.

Bunches of flowers have been left by devastated family and friends at the scene of the accident.

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “At around 6.40pm, it is reported that a red Seat Ibiza was involved in a collision on the A18 High Street, travelling towards Dunsville, near to Wyndthorpe Hall.

“An 18-year-old man driving the car suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.”

“The 13-year-old boy, a passenger in the car, remains in a critical in a stable condition in hospital.”

The family of the teenagers are being supported by specialist officers and they have asked that their privacy be respected at what police described as ‘this difficult time’.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have been in the area, either walking or driving, at the time of the collision.
