Trains get high marks

a TRAIN company which serves Doncaster passengers has scored highly in a recent satisfaction survey.

First TransPennine Express (FTPE) scored 89 per cent in overall satisfaction in the Independent National Passenger Survey which was conducted this spring.

Ninety-two per cent of passengers using the FTPE’s south route connecting Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and Manchester Airport, were happy with the service they received.

Customers also commended trains for their punctuality and length of journeys which all scored above 83 per cent.

Edith Rodgers, customer services director, said: “Our satisfaction ratings have improved continuously since 2004 and it is pleasing to know that our customers are able to take advantage of the great service we strive to provide.”

More than 27,000 people responded to the survey.
