The TARA is currently down to only two members and there is a real need for new members to join.

Dorothy Duroe, Treasurer at the TARA, said: “The TARA is here to help the people in the around the Lower Manor area. We try to help them in any way we can.”

“We’re looking for new members who are in good health and who are passionate about helping people. In TARA meetings people are allowed to say what they like and get their voice heard by housing providers, the police and other services around Lower Manor. It’s one of the only places you can get your voice heard.”

The group meets once a month between 6pm and 8pm on the second Tuesday of the month except August and December. Meetings are held at the MaTReC (Manor Training and Resource Centre) located on Prince of Wales Road in Sheffield.
