More than 20,000 students are set to spend spend spend at Meadowhall later this month - as the complex holds its third annual Lock-In event.
Stores all over the centre will be offering discounts, deals and entertainment for anyone with a student ID.
The evening event on Thursday, September 26, celebrates the start of the academic year and more than 120 retailers are getting involved.
Highlights will include exclusive discounts and in store activities, with live music, buskers, gaming, fashion workshops and makeovers available across the centre contributing to a party atmosphere.
On the malls there will be an FM Models scout station, VW Van ‘selfie’ photo booth, cocktail masterclasses, the Nandos wheel of fortune and mascot, a rodeo bull and DJ, performances from Burrito Banditoes and much more.
Stores such as Levis, Top Shop, Urban Outfitters, Superdry and Ted Baker will be offering up to 30 per cent off big brands and there will be giveaways, competitions and promotions.
Made In Chelsea celebrity ‘cheeky chappy’ Jamie Lang’s Candy Kittens store will be bringing a touch of metropolitan glamour to Meadowhall.
Last year’s Lock-In attracted over 18,000 young people and the numbers grow year by year.
The action starts at 6.30pm and continues until 10pm.
Students wanting to guarantee a place can also pre-register now at www.studentlockin.com/sheffield but must bring a form of student ID on the night so that they can collect their wristband.
Alex Caley, Meadowhall’s event manager, said: “Sheffield is an extremely popular city for students. We’re looking forward to showing new students and familiar faces alike a big Yorkshire welcome at our Lock-in event.
“We have worked with a host of our retailers to secure special discounts for students for one evening only. We’re sure they will love the chance to socialise together and pick up some great bargains in the process.”
