Snow likely as Met Office issues yellow weather warning for South Yorkshire

Weather forecasters have predicted snow and sleet across South Yorkshire today.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for the region, meaning showers of sleet and snow are likely at times today (Sunday, February 14) and overnight into Monday.

Up to 5cm of snow could fall in hilly areas, with up to 2cm at low levels. There is also a high risk of ice overnight.
