SLIDESHOW: Isle riders raise funds for little boy with epilepsy and cerebral palsy

Horse riders rallied round to raise funds for a little Isle boy recently.

The event, at Tinkers Cottage in Belton, was in aid of ten-year-old Ashton King who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, in the hope of helping him with more independent living.

The day, organised by Hannah Findlay and Lynsey Addlesee, involved a 6.5 mile sponsored horse ride using mainly bridleways and so far has raised over £1,000 in donations.
One of the organisers said after the event: “We are looking to raise as much money as possible to help with equipment needed to make life just a little easier for him.”
