NEEDLEWORKERS are getting ready to show off their stitchwork at a special exhibition.
The Doncaster Association of Redoubtable Needlers in Thorne (DARNiT) is hosting the event at St Nicholas Church Hall.
Members will be showing off embroidery and knitting pieces to the public who can vote for their favourite work.
The exhibition is called ‘The Sea’ with members interpreting the title in their own way.
It marks the group’s fifth birthday, which they celebrated in November. Originally it was arranged to be held then but was cancelled at the last minute because of snow.
Now it will take place between 10am and 4pm on Saturday.
The group, which was set up in 2005, aims to preserve all forms of needle art and their associated crafts.
