SEASONAL stalls and a visit by Santa are among the attractions at the Epworth primary Christmas fair and market which takes place on Friday December 9 between 2.30-5pm.
Attractions will include a Santa’s Grotto, tombola, raffle, lucky dip, hook a duck, cake stall, refreshments, decorate a snow globe, tattoos and many stalls including make up, jewellery, books, cards, toys, clothes, candles and crafts and gifts.
The event kicks off at 2.30pm when the Young Voices Choir will perform, with drinks and mince pies being sold. The stalls then will open at 3.15pm.
A spokesman said: “Due to the increasing external costs, this is the first time for many years the Friends of Epworth School have held the Christmas Fair in school rather than the Imperial Hall, this has enabled us to put more attractions on offer.
“All profits raised will be used to purchase new KS2 reading books, and hopefully the new revamped fair will bring in more visitors. Although the event is at school we would stress that this is still an event for the community and welcome everyone warmly.”
