Rovers line up plan for holiday scheme

The Keepmoat Stadium will link up with the Doncaster Rovers Community Foundation to host a week of children’s sports activities during the half term school holidays.

Youngsters aged between seven and 14 will take part in various activities from the All Sports Week timetable including dodge ball, football, army challenges and table tennis.

Julie Nichol, Keepmoat Stadium manager, said: “The best way to keep young people entertained in the school holidays is to combine keeping fit, learning new skills and having fun. This is something the All Sports timetable has encompassed over the last few years.”

Zoe Blythe, the head community coach at Doncaster Rovers Community Foundation, added: “Due to recent success, the programme does get booked pretty quickly.”
