Doncaster is due to host three games in the tournament when it is held in England next year, with the matches played at the borough’s Keepmoat Stadium. It is also due to host a team.
Although there is no sport at present because of lockdown, the organisers are looking ahead to what times peope locally would like the matches here to kick off and have set up a survey to give people their say.

Hide AdLocal organisers want as much feedback from Doncaster residents as possible, with an online survey running until the end of Sunday, April 26.
A spokesman said: “The Rugby League World Cup is coming to Doncaster in 2021 and organisers want YOU to have your say on how we can make it enjoyable for you.”
The first week of the competion is during October half term, 2021, and the survey, which is aimed at Doncaster residents, asks whether people would sooner the game kicks off at 2.30pm or 7.30pm

Hide AdThe BBC is broadcasting all the matches live, and organisers want 750,000 people to attend matches, a record for a tournament started in 1954.
There are 32 teams due to play, with Jamaica and Greece playing for the first time in the men’s tournament, and Brazil playing for the first time in the women’s.
He told them: “We’re focussing on social benefits it will bring for schools and volunteers who get involved, and the chance to get behind a global event. These don’t come round very often, and that’s why they are so special.”
