Detectives in Blackpool are appealing for help from South Yorkshire residents for help solving a murder in Blackpool.
At around 1am on Wednesday, December 23, Marcin Pawlow, aged 30, from Poland, was found outside an address on Central Drive with stab wounds to his hip, leg and shoulder. He later died at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Six men, aged 52, 32, 45, 31, 33 and 34, all from Blackpool, were arrested on suspicion of murder but have since been released.
Police would like to trace a man who is believed to use the names Wojcieh Sylwester Sobisz and Danial Sebastian Sobisz who is aged in his mid thirties and from Poland.
They would like to speak with him in connection with the incident and are appealing for information leading to his whereabouts.
He is described as white, around 5ft 10in to 6ft tall, of muscular build with a shaved head. At the time of the incident he was believed to be wearing a grey hooded top, grey jogging trousers and a blue long-sleeved zipped hooded jacket.
Detectives understand he may have travelled from Blackpool to the Midlands area during the evening of December 23.
Detective chief inspector Dean Holden, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are looking for this male in connection with the murder of Marcin Pawlow.
“We would like to locate this individual as soon as possible. We believe he was in the Central Drive area on the night of Mr Pawlow’s death and need to trace him.
“If you know this man by either of the two names, we would urge you not to approach him but contact police immediately.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately on 101 quoting log reference 0066 of December 23 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
