Half term is nearly here and as Autumn draws in there are a whole host of things to do in South Yorkshire and the surrounding area to keep your children busy.
Why not wrap up warm and head over to Doncaster’s Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Finningley for its annual Halloween extravaganza?
Scary activities are on the menu at the Spook-tacular Happy Halloween celebrations which will take place from Thursday, October 29 to Saturday, October 31.
Visitors can watch entertainers, acrobats and magicians, while children are encouraged to get into the spooky spirit by donning fancy dress and enjoying the treasure trail.
Derek the Dragon, an amazing talking animatronic, will thrill visitors and the Wizards of Castle Magic has shows for children aged five to 11.
Or why not explore the Enchanted Woods, full of strange creatures, witches, wizards and fairies?
The Halloween Treasure trail will be revealing facts about the animals at the park and there will be prizes up for grabs.
There will be an incredible finale each day featuring bang-less fireworks and fire performers.
