SATURDAY: ENJOY an Easter eggs-travaganza of activities in Rotherham Town Centre.

There will be games and craft-making at the Minster Gardens and Imperial Buildings from 10am to 3pm. Games will be taking place in the gardens from 11am to 2pm. For more information, call 01709 835904.

SUNDAY: KIDS will love the Easter activities at the Tropical Butterfly House near Dinnington. There will be a bird of prey display and an egg hunt for a chocolate prize.


friday: TAKE a step back in time with a walk around Doncaster town centre. The informative Town Centre Heritage Walk is a great way of getting active as well as learning about the history of the town. It will take in many of Doncaster’s historic buildings. EASTER WEEKEND: VISIT the new £300,000 leopard enclosure at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The open-topped enclosure will allow you to see the Amur Leopard - the most endangered carnivore in the world - up close and personal. The 6,000 sq metre enclosure is now open to the public. EASTER WEEKEND: ENJOY an Easter egg hunt at family favourite, The Trolleybus Museum, this Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Sandtoft museum is marking 40 years since the last closure of a trolleybus system in the UK. There will be simulators, trolleybus rides and insights into life in the 1960s. Open 11am to 5pm.
