'What a joy!' Vicar's delight as Doncaster Minster holds first baptism in eight months

The Reverend David Stevens, Vicar of Doncaster conducted the service at Doncaster Minster.
Because of coronavirus restrictions, family gatherings for events such as funerals, wedddings and baptisms have had to be cancelled or restricted in size due to Covid-19 regulations.

Hide AdBut the Rev Stevens expressed his delight on Twitter at being able to hold the Minster’s first baptism since September.
He wrote: “A real delight to be able to have a baptism again at Doncaster Minster today for the first time since September.
"Congratulations to little four year old Patryk Michael Waclawiak and the family. What a joy.”
The Minster is open for worship each Sunday at 11am, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.30pm and Monday to Saturday 11am – 1pm for private prayer or to light a candle
