Time to nominate Doncaster apprentices for regional awards

To join in with the 14th annual week-long national celebration of apprenticeships, the Sheffield City Region Apprenticeship Awards are launching today for 2021 entries.

To support and showcase apprenticeships, there are an exciting range of awards up for grabs to highlight the outstanding work within the Sheffield City Region.Whilst the limelight is on our apprentices, the awards will also be recognising the firms who employ them and those who help develop their skills.

Now organisers are keen to hear from the many businesses and individuals within our community who support the apprenticeship scheme.

They wanted to highlight the apprentices that have gone above and beyond what was perhaps expected of them with the introduction of a new award category, the Covid Hero.

This award recognises apprentices who have adapted to business during the global pandemic, to assist their company through the crisis.

Who do you know that has shown incredible spirit in adapting and overcoming challenges?

The second category is for The Kickstart Scheme / Apprenticeship.

Organisers would like to hear about your journey to date and also if you were successful on completion of the six months of securing an apprenticeship or employment.

National Apprenticeship Week runs until February 14.
