Tilly, who is studying air cabin crew at Doncaster College, said: “I entered the competition after seeing an advert online and felt it would give me the opportunity to boost my self confidence.

“Getting through made me feel extremely happy, but nervous at the same time, I am still in shock but looking forward to the opportunities this may lead to.”

Tilly is currently working towards helping the charity called Together for Short Lives a leading UK charity for children with life-threatening & life-limiting conditions.

Together for Short Lives’ vision is for children and young people in the UK with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families to have as fulfilling lives as possible, and the best care at the end of life

She said: “I am offering to help with collecting shopping, cleaning, walking dogs and anything within reason that somebody may require doing to help them out for a donation of their choice which will be given to the charity.

“I have submitted all the relevant information they have requested from me and have received confirmation that the competition is hopefully going to be held in October, I will therefore not know until this time whether I will be in the final or not.

“My family and friends are extremely proud of me, my mum in particular has been very supportive and encouraging.

“I am hoping I win the competition as this would mean so much to me. I plan on continuing with the charity work and raising awareness for my chosen charity for the foreseeable future.”
