Viewing figures for the second episode of Doncaster filmed sitcom Still Open All Hours were up on the Boxing Day edition.
The comedy classic, starring Sir David Jason, was the top-rated television show on December 28, drawing in 6.39 million viewers.
That represented 28.1% of the viewing audience and an increase of 700,000 on the opening episode on Boxing Day.
However, both figures are still massively down on the 12.2 million who tuned in for last year’s episode which sparked a full six part revival of the series.
Outdoor sequences were shot at the Beautique hair salon on the corner of Lister Avenue and Scarth Avenue in Balby which for two weeks was transformed into Arkwright’s cluttered emporium once more.
The remainder of the series is set to be broadcast on Sunday nights throughout January.
