Death of Doncaster 103-year-old Doris

One of Doncaster’s oldest residents has died at the age of 103.
Doris Schofield of Arksey, died peacefully earlier this month.
Mrs Schofield was a grandma and great grandma and mother to the late Terry and wife of the late Charlie.

She died on January 17 and her funeral service will be held on February 12 at Bentley Methodist Church from 2.15pm, followed by commital at Rose Hill at 3.20pm.

The family have requested no black attire at the funeral.

Mrs Schofield is pictured celebrating her 100th birthday at her home in Station Road, when family and friends celebrated with her and she also received the traditional greeting card from The Queen.
