Role play, water fun and outdoor activities are just some of the activities that keep youngsters entertained at the Belton Acorn Nursery.
The facility, based at the village school, which recently received a ‘good with oustanding features Ofsted’, has been serving the community for more than 28 years and provides a purpose built facility with indoor and outdoor learning environments.
A special open day is being held next week to allow parents to see what the nursery has to offer.
Headteacher Sarah Groves said: “We pride ourselves on providing a happy, secure environment where your child can grow and flourish following the National Early Years Curriculum for three and four-year-olds.
“We provide opportunities for the children to make friends and to begin to explore and understand about the world around them. It provides an excellent transition for the children as they move on into our reception class.”
Anyone with a child aged three or under is invited to attend the open day on Tuesday May 13 between 9am-noon and 1-3pm, when there will be an opportunity to ‘stay and play’. Telephone 01427 872391 for more.
